Refund & Cancellation Policy

Effective date: 2026-10-24 · Last updated: 2026-10-24

This policy explains how cancellation, refunds and disputes work for ClipVeil purchases made through clipveil.com. It forms part of our Terms & Conditions.

1. Paddle is the Merchant of Record

All payments on this site are processed by Paddle.com Market Ltd, which acts as the Merchant of Record: Paddle is the seller of record for your purchases and processes payments, taxes, invoices, refunds and chargebacks. Refund decisions are made under this policy, and refunds themselves are issued by Paddle.

2. Subscriptions — cancel any time, use what you paid for

  • How to cancel. From your account page, open your subscription and confirm cancellation. It takes effect immediately for future renewals — no waiting period and no notice requirement. You can also ask us to cancel by emailing [email protected].
  • What cancellation means. Future auto-renewal stops immediately. Your paid benefits — remaining monthly quota and resolution ceiling — remain available until the end of the paid period. Nothing is deleted before then.
  • Refunds for paid periods. We do not refund a paid subscription period: after paying, you keep full access to the plan for the period you bought, and cancellation simply prevents the next charge. There is no partial or pro-rata refund for unused time.
  • Renewals. Subscriptions renew automatically through Paddle at the end of each period until you cancel. If a renewal payment fails, Paddle's retry behavior applies; we never make any additional automatic charge beyond the subscription price.
  • Changing plans. To switch tiers or between monthly and annual billing, cancel your current subscription (benefits run to period end) and purchase the new one. We do not automatically upgrade, downgrade, or charge price differences.
  • Free first-use grant. New accounts receive a one-time grant of 10 metered minutes at first sign-in (valid 30 days, up to 1080p, once per verified email address). It involves no payment, so there is nothing to refund; when it expires or runs out it simply stops participating.

3. Minute packs — one-off top-ups

  • Minute packs (10 minutes US$9.9, 50 minutes US$39, 200 minutes US$129) are one-off purchases, valid for 12 months from purchase.
  • Packs are consumed after your free allowance and current-month quota; when several packs coexist, the earliest-expiring one is consumed first, and we warn you before a pack expires.
  • Packs are non-refundable after purchase. Remaining balance that expires unused, or that exists when the account is closed, is voided without refund.
  • Packs never auto-repurchase — on expiry or exhaustion, nothing is charged.

4. When we do refund

We refund a purchase when:

  • you were charged in error or charged twice for the same period or pack;
  • you were successfully charged but the entitlement was never activated on your account;
  • a refund is required by applicable law, or by the outcome of a Paddle dispute or chargeback.

To request a refund, email [email protected] with your account email and Paddle order ID (found in your Paddle receipt). We will review and, where this policy allows, instruct Paddle to issue the refund to your original payment method.

5. Failed or abandoned payments

If a payment fails, is abandoned, or times out, nothing is charged and no entitlement is activated. You can simply retry the purchase.

6. Account closure

Closing your account is immediate and irreversible. It ends your subscription on the spot (remaining paid benefits stop being usable), voids any remaining minute-pack balance without refund, revokes active share links, and deletes your media as described in the Privacy Policy. Because closure is self-service, verified by your email, and described in full before you confirm it, no refund is issued for unused time or balances at closure.

7. Chargebacks and disputes

Chargebacks are handled by Paddle as Merchant of Record under its policies. Please contact us first — most issues can be resolved directly and faster than a bank dispute. Initiating a chargeback may cause Paddle to suspend the related account and its active entitlements while the dispute is resolved.

8. Statutory rights

Nothing in this policy limits any non-excludable rights you have under the consumer law of your jurisdiction, including any statutory withdrawal or cooling-off rights.
